📚 Stockport Beekeepers’ Library

User Documentation

This guide explains how to access and use the online library system to manage your bee-related reading and records.

  1. Users: All members of Stockport Beekeepers Association who have provided their email address are eligible to use the system.
  2. Security: The system only stores your name and email address. This data is visible only to the administrators (normally two for robustness). - All emails are automated and sent from a system account. - Group emails are never used, so your email address is never exposed to other users.
  3. System Functionality:
    • Browse the library catalogue to identify books to loan.
    • Request the loan of any book you have identified.
    • Track books on loan and loan requests (first come, first served).
    • Receive automated meeting reminders one day before collection/return dates.
    • Get return reminders 5 days before meetings if you have books on loan.
    • Receive notifications if you are first in the queue for a requested book.
  4. Accessing the System:
    • Stage 1: Visit cccgames.co.uk/lib-login and enter your email address. The system verifies membership and sends you an automated email.
    • Stage 2: The email contains a one-time login link. Click it to complete login. Each login requires repeating Stage 1.
  5. Home Page:
    • After login, you are presented with the home page.
    • The home page contains a 3-column table of actions:
